2025 Kyoto University Scholarship In Japan (Fully Funded)

A public research university in Japan known as Kyoto University is open to applications for the KYOTO University ADB Scholarship 2025 in Japan. Students from developing countries are awarded 300 Scholarships annually by the ADB to pursue a Master’s degree program in Eligible Universities under the ADB Scholarship program. Kyoto University is one of the oldest Universities in Japan and regularly ranks among the top Universities in the world. The ADB Scholarship is fully funded.
The Asian and Pacific students are allowed by the ADB _Japan Scholarship program (ADB_JSP) to pursue postgraduate studies at Kyoto University with financial assistance from the ADB_JSP program. The ADB Scholarship covers full tuition fees, housing allowance, book allowance, medical insurance, and round trip airfare travel expenses. There are various scholarships available in Japan for international students.

  1. Be a National of ADB member country.
  2. Not hold dual citizenship.
  3. Have gained admission into an approved University and approved degree program.
  4. Holds a bachelor’s degree at the time of admission.
  5. Have at least two (2) years of full-time professional working experience.
  6. Age should not be more than 35 years old at the time of application. Be in good health.
  7. Must return to the country and work in his/her home country for at least two (2) years after completion of studies.

ADB offers financial support will cover:

  1. Full Tuition fees
  2. A monthly subsistence and housing allowance
  3. An allowance for books and Instructional materials.
  4. Medical Insurance
  5. Travel expenses.

The Application deadline is June (for April Intake);
November (for October Intake).


  1. Applicants should request the information and application forms from the chosen partner Institution. In this case, it is Kyoto University.
  2. Applicants should complete the application and documents.
  3. Applicants should send documents to the Institution.
  4. The University evaluates the application
  5. The University evaluates the application.
  6. The University sends a shortlist of candidates to ADB.
  7. ADB reviews the application
  8. ADB selects Scholars and informs institutions
  9. Institution informs all scholars
